Barbara H. McKinney, 86, of Belmar, passed away on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Care One at Wall, with her devoted son by her side. Barbara (nee DeLuca) was born and raised in Jersey City and was a graduate of Snyder High School. She had summered in Belmar since 1953 and been a full-time resident since 1971. She retired from the Monmouth County Division of Social Services after a long career. Barbara was predeceased by her daughter Barbara Krumeich in 2017. She is survived by her son, William, of Neptune, her granddaughter Kaitlin Krumeich, her sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Kenneth Becker of Princeton, and her son-in-law, Jerry Krumeich, of Morris Twp. Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, from 9-10 AM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose Church, Belmar, on Wednesday, at 10:30 AM, followed by burial at Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City.
