Condolence: May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you. God bless you Joanne.

Condolence From: Rosemary Scanlon
Condolence: Dear Family of Joanne Casey: I worked closely with Joanne at the Port Authority during most of the years of 1991-1993. She was my Executive Assistant, and our office was on the 67th Floor of 1 World Trade Center. And there we were when the bomb exploded on February 26, 1993 although if my memory is accurate from that troubling experience, Joanne had already left to go down to the Concourse; she was caught in the evacuation process, but was not in the group that went with me down the stairs . Joanne and I had a great relationship, warm, confidential, with such respect for each other's work. She was always helpful to me in meeting deadlines, handling phone calls, graciously greeting outside visitors. And we shared many a giggle when no one was around to hear us! My condolences to all of you. She spoke so lovingly of her family. Rosemary Scanlon, then, Chief Economist of the Port Authority.
