Gary Dennis Carroll, 72, of Toms River and a longtime resident of Neptune passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 at Laurelton Village, Brick.
Born in Jersey City, he had graduated from University of Sioux Falls and went on to become the co-owner and operator of Aqua-Land Pools, Manasquan which he ran from 1972 until retiring in 2013. He was on the board of trustees and lifetime member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Neptune. He was president of Metro NY/NJ chapter of the NSPI 2000-2001.
He was predeceased by his parents Patrick Vincent and Florence (nee Reed) Carroll.
Gary was survived by his beloved wife of 50 years Linda V. (nee Auen) Carroll who passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 and his devoted children and nephew who carry on his legacy of continuing to run his company, Dennis A. Carroll and wife Anastacia of Neptune City and Robin Duvall and husband Jason of Browns Mills, and his 2 brothers Gerald V. Carroll of Florida and Patrick G. Carroll of New Jersey.
Visitation for Gary and Linda will be on Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Hamilton United Methodist Church, 858 Old Corlies Rd., Neptune, NJ 07753. Please go directly to the Church on Saturday, there will not be a procession from the funeral home.
