Phyllis Mills, 61, of Freehold, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. Phyllis was born and raised in Jersey City. Phyllis enjoyed cooking for her family and friends as well as making crafts. Phyllis was a loving mother who cherished her family. After losing her first husband, Carmine Iemma, she held her family together and raised two children on her own. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents Thomas and Anne Dyas; her first husband, Carmine Iemma, and her sisters Alicia and Eileen. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Daniel Mills, her son, Carmine and his companion Camille; daughter Susan and her husband Brian; brothers James, Thomas, Edward and Steven; sisters Maryann, Kathleen, Janice, Helen and Sharon; grandchildren Sara, Krista, Kevin, Hannah, Abbygail, and “Little Carmine” on the way. She is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins.
