Virginia Frances  Capparelli
Virginia Frances Capparelli, 96, of Sea Girt, N.J., passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
She was born in Brockton, Mass., and was proud of her descendancy from Pilgrims John and Priscilla Alden. During WWII she worked at the Fore River Shipyard in Quincy, Mass., and later on as a telephone operator for N.J. Bell in Asbury Park.
She was the widow of the late Dr. A. Peter Capparelli, with whom she shared 47 years. She is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepchildren, nieces and caregivers.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 5-7 P.M. The service will be held at St. Catharine Cemetery (Resurrection Chapel), 1100 W. Chicago Blvd., Sea Girt, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 11 A.M.
