Obituary for Alice Mae Koffler (Skold)

A beautiful life.
Alice Mae Koffler; Champ to her dad, Mom to her children, Darling to her husband, and Grammy to her grandkids. Alice was born June 19, 1929 in Kearny, NJ. She left this world May 16, 2018 surrounded by love and went peacefully to meet God and all of her dear departed family and friends. Alice was a lifelong resident of NJ and loved the shore, summer days, ocean breezes, Jersey sweet corn and backyard family parties. She was gracious hostess at her home, a dedicated banker, a lifelong athlete, a guiding light, and above all a loving mother, wife, and friend.
Alice leaves behind her son Herbert Conrad Koffler III (Jeanne) of Lakeland, FL; daughter Barbara Ann DiVito (Belden) of Ashburnham, MA; and son William Alexander Koffler of Bristol, RI. Alice was recently preceded in death by her husband of 68 years Herbert Conrad Koffler Jr. and in 2014 her daughter Allison Koffler. She is missed by her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Koffler was also preceded in death by her brother Robert E. Skold (Mary) of York, PA and her sister Anna Falk (Harvey) of Bonita Springs, FL.
Alice made the world a better place and is alive in all who knew and loved her.
A service of remembrance will be held at Wall United Methodist Church, 2414 Old Mill Road, Spring Lake Heights, NJ, on June 14 at 5:00 PM.
