Patricia L. "Patty"  Hayner
Patricia “Patty” L. Hayner of Brick passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
Patricia was born in Newark and raised in Kearny. She was a graduate of Kearny High School and attended St. Mary Hospital School of Nursing in Hoboken. After pursuing her dreams of becoming a Registered Nurse, Patricia moved to Brick, started her family and resided there since 1973. She was a former member and president of the USS Shangri-La Auxiliary. Patricia had many hobbies and was especially fond of traveling, scrapbooking, wreath making and computers.
She was predeceased by her parents Merle and Muriel McCulloch and granddaughter Carina Bartolomei.
Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Robert Hayner; daughters, Diana Glickstein, Michelle Bartolomei and her husband Marc; son Christopher Hayner and wife Amarilys; grandchildren; Sierra, Gianna, Evan and Alyssa; mother-in-law Mildred Hayner, sister-in-law Linda and her husband
John De Poto and several dear cousins and many, many dear friends.
Visitation will take place at the O’Brien Funeral Home in Brick on Friday, June 1, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Cremation will take place privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Crohns and Colitis Foundation, 733 Third Avenue, Suite 510, New York, NY 10017.
