Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Natalie Wild can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Natalie S.  Wild (Stehnicky)
Natalie Stehnicky Wild, 90, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2018 at Morningside of Rock Hill, SC in the arms of her loving daughter, Jeanne. Natalie was born on March 11, 1928 in Jersey City, NJ and lived her childhood there before moving to Brick and Toms River, NJ. She and her husband, Harry, lived there until 1989 when they retired to Fairfield Harbor, New Bern, NC. While in Brick, she raised 5 wonderful children, loved going to the beach, spending time with family, and gathering with her friends, particularly the “Sew n Sews” sewing club. In retirement, she was always very active and became a longtime aquatic instructor at the club. She enjoyed boating with her husband; loved to cook; and of course, loved to shop.
She was the youngest of 12 siblings with only her sister, Ollie Mauchet, surviving. She was predeceased by her parents, Maxim and Olena (Fill) Stehnicky; and her late husband of 61 years, Harry J Wild in 2010. Surviving are her children Karen Taintor (Ron) of Rutherfordton, NC; James Wild (Sarah) of Dorset, UK; Jeanne Schoeller (Carl) of Ocala, FL; Natalie Billie (Jeff) of Point Pleasant, NJ, and Harry Wild (Janine) of Shalimar, FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren Lee (Nadiah), Max (Jamie); Victoria, Emma, James; Jason (Minnie); Leslie (Ashwin), Natasha (Grant); Stephen (Alex), and Harrison. And her great grandchildren Riyan and Ridley. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on June 13, 2018 at O’Brien’s Funeral Home, 2028 NJ Route 35, Wall, NJ from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a memorial service to follow. Burial will immediately follow at Saint Anne’s Cemetery 1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ.
