Helen M. Cosentino of Brick NJ, died August 5th, 2018 at the age of 84 with her family by her side. She was born June 28th, 1934 in Long Branch to Maria Aschenttino-Strollo and Joseph Strollo.
She is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas E. Cosentino, Sr., who passed away in 2013. Together they left behind their 7 children, Cheryl Hill, Susan Cosentino, Nicholas Cosentino, Jr., Mark Cosentino, Luanne Marshall, Karen Cosentino, and Michael Cosentino. She was a grandmother of 23, and a great-grandmother of 25. Helen was a fighter to the end, and that is a testament to her that her strength and courage never failed her. She will be missed and will forever remain in the hearts of all of us. She will always be our light in the dark.
Visiting will be on Friday from 2-6pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A Mass will be offered on Saturday 10am at St. Dominic’s RC Church, Brick. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
