Obituary for Anne Marie Divadi (Sullivan)

Anne Marie Divadi, 91, of Spring Lake, NJ, died Monday, August 6, 2018 at her home. She was born in New York, and raised in the Bronx. After summering in Spring Lake since 1972, she moved there full-time in 1993. She was a member Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manasquan, where she was involved with Elizabeth Circle and Blanketeers in the Holy Trinity Women’s Club. She worked as a secretary with US Gypsum Corp., NY, NY.
Anne Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael C. Divadi, her brothers, Gerard Sullivan and William Sullivan. Surviving are her children; Anita Greene of Petaluma, CA, Andrew and his wife Sharon Cassidy, of Punta Gorda, FL, Thomas Cassidy, of Pine Island, NY, and Suzanne and her husband Rick DelSordo, of Wall, NJ; 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She also leaves her sisters-in-law, Marie Sullivan and Peggy Sullivan.
Visiting will be Sunday, August 12, from 4-8 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A Funeral Service will be Monday, 10 AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Manasquan. Burial will follow in the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. For more information or to send condolences please visit www.obrienfuneralhome.com.
