Obituary for Jerold V "Jerry " Hart Jr.
Jerold V. Hart, Jr. “Jerry”, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 19, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Neptune, Jerry resided in the Shore area for his whole life.
Mr. Hart worked as a mechanic for Circle Chevrolet in Shrewsbury for many years.
Jerry was a huge Denver Bronco’s fan as well as an avid NASCAR fan. He enjoyed building car models and stock car driving at Wall Stadium.
He is predeceased by his parents Jerold Hart Sr. in 2014 and Mary in 1994 and his brother in law Thomas Lane in 2008.
Surviving are his brothers, Michael Hart and his wife Ann and Randy Hart and his wife Diane; his sisters, Patti Evan and her husband Richard and Bonnie Lane and her partner Bob Yuro; his nieces, Ashley Evan and her partner Mike, Stephanie Nappe, who was his Goddaughter and her husband Joe, Courtney Winters and her husband Mike, Rebecca Murphy and her husband Barry, Alyssa Hart and her fiancé Scott, Tori Hart and Jaclyn Hart and his nephew Matthew Lane.
A Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 5-9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick with a Service being held at 8:30 p.m. The burial of cremated remains will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Jersey Shore Animal Shelter, 185 Brick Boulevard, Brick, New Jersey 08723.
