Brian A.  Holland
Brian A. Holland, 37, of Asbury Park, NJ died Monday, August 20, 2018. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Brian lived in Freehold and Wall before moving to Asbury Park 10 years ago. He was a graduate of Wall High School Class of 1999, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree at East Stroudsburg University, PA, in 2004, where he was active in numerous theater productions. Brian brought passion, commitment and fun to his work for over 15 years at The Atlantic Club and most recently as the Regional Director of Employee Experience at The Asbury Hotel, which opened in 2016. Brian was also involved in numerous charitable and community organizations in Asbury Park. Brian was a parishioner of St. Rose Church, Belmar, NJ.
Brian is survived by his parents William and Robette Holland; his siblings: Amy Lockhart and her husband John, Jeremy Holland, Lindsay Prato-Di Somma and her husband Sean, and Caitlin Holland; 2 nephews Andrew and Matthew Lockhart, niece Scarlett Di Somma and loving family as well as innumerable friends in the AP Community, who he considered his second family. Brian was a loving, kind, and funny presence who will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 10 AM at St. Rose Church, Belmar.
