Obituary for Donald E. Buhl

Donald E. Buhl Sr. 83 of Spring Lake Hts., NJ died Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Jersey Shore Univ. Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Irvington, NJ Donald moved to the Jersey Shore Area when he was 18 years old. He worked for Electronic Measurements in Neptune for many years. Donald was a member of Wall United Methodist Church and the Improved Order of the Redman Tacumsa Tribe #60. He volunteered on the Spring Lake Heights Fire Company # 1, where he was head of the memorial committee and was Lieutenant of Fire Police. Donald enjoyed classical things like John Wayne movies, fishing, gardening, country music and going to Wall Stadium. He was a huge Nascar fan, especially Dale Earnhardt and local favorite Martin Truex Jr. He loved his red pickup trucks.
Donald is predeceased by his brother Valentine J. Buhl Jr. Donald is survived by his former wife Eleanor Wudrup, 2 children; Donald E. Buhl Jr., Sharon C. Buhl, 2 grandchildren; Justin and Donald Buhl, a brother Herbert Buhl, 6 nieces and 13 great nieces and great nephews.
A Memorial service will be held at a later date at the Wall United Methodist Church. Committal will be private. In lieu of flowers please donate to Jersey Shore Hope or Spring Lake Hts. Volunteer Fire #1 or to Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation. O’Brien Funeral Home in Wall is in charge of arrangements.
