Obituary for Lois Ann O'Keefe
Lois Ann O’Keefe, 75, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
Born in Boston, MA, Lois was raised in Dorchester, MA and lived in Edison, NJ before moving to Howell, NJ where she resided for the last 38 years.
She was a member of the St. Kevin’s Emerald Knights Drum and Bugle Corps, Boston, MA. Her greatest joys in life were crossword puzzles and spending time with her beloved family.
Lois was predeceased by her parents Louis and Anna Hagan, and her loving husband of 50 years, Michael J. O’Keefe Jr. in 2015.
Surviving are her loving children, her Son Michael J. O’Keefe and his wife Kelly and her Daughter, Kelly A. O’Keefe-Pounds; grandchildren, Michael, Nathaniel, Jonathan, and Elmer Johnson Jr. and his wife, Chelsea; great-grandson, Jack; Sisters, Susan Healy and her husband Bob of Plymouth, Massachusetts and Patricia Bowman of Minnesota; Sisters-in-Law, Mary Rollins, Eileen Sysyn, Bernice Carpenter, Catherine Van Sickle and her husband, John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 6:00-9:00PM at O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick, NJ. Burial will take place on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Monmouth Memorial Park Cemetery, Tinton Falls.
