Obituary for Robert H. Clayton Sr.
Robert H. Clayton Sr., 78 of West Belmar, NJ died Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at his home. Born in Neptune, NJ Robert was a lifelong resident of West Belmar. He worked for J.F. Kiely Construction Company, Long Branch, until his retirement.
Robert was predeceased by his wife Patricia A. Clayton. Robert is survived by his wife Mila M. Clayton, 4 children; Denise Elcano and husband Reny, Teresa Foster and husband Thomas, Robert Clayton Jr. and wife Julie, Victoria Lopez and husband Alex, a step-daughter Queenie Alluso, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, and a sister Susan Sperry.
Visiting will be Saturday, from 10 AM until 2 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. Burial service will follow at 2:30 PM at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
