Albert John Maraziti III, 78, died at home on August 31, 2018, after a courageous, four-year battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Al graduated from both St. Rose High School in Belmar and Monmouth College in Long Branch, before enlisting in the US Navy for 5 years. After completion, he attended NY Chiropratic College, Long Island, where he attained a Doctorate in Chiropractics.
Mr. Maraziti lived a life of joy and adventure in Manasquan since 1946. In his early years, he was the head of his own paper mache factory, he wrote plays, established a neighborhood “Treasury Men in Action” team, worked as a Safety Officer at Sutton Laboratories (Chatham, NJ), and then at the lab at Monmouth Medical in Long Branch. Al was also a boat captain… of his boat “Sea Plow” which was docked at Sal’s Landing in Point Pleasant on which Captain Al took people “deep sea fishing”.
Mr. Maraziti is survived by his beloved wife Barbara; his brother Salvatore J. Maraziti, Jr. of Manasquan; three sisters – Mrs. Frances Drew of Manasquan and Chatham, Rosanne Maraziti of Pawley’s Island, SC, and Mary Coleman of Point Pleasant; and a devoted family of cousins, nieces and nephews.
