Obituary for Diane Naue Williams

Diane Naue Williams, 64, of Long Branch passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune surrounded by her loved ones. Diane will be remembered as a generous, kind, spirited, light-hearted and genuine mother, grandmother, and friend.
Diane grew up in Glen Ridge, NJ and spent many memorable summers at the Essex and Sussex in Spring Lake, before moving to the shore full-time. After a few years, she moved to Singer Island, FL, where she spent what she described as her "happiest years" raising her daughter. In 2011, she moved back to the Jersey shore and was able to reconnect with longtime friends and enjoyed life to the fullest, despite her diagnosis, Diane was predeceased by her beloved "Papa," Bill Naue; "Lolly," Lillian Naue, and mother, Lillian Naue "Chickie" Williams. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Greg Branch; grandson, James Branch; ex-husband and caretaker, Patrick Manning, and many dear friends that became family. She will be forever missed.
Visiting will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35, Wall. A prayer service will be held 10:30am on Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Catharine’s Cemetery in Sea Girt. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in her memory to a local animal organization.
