Obituary for John Lawrence Brolewicz

John Lawrence Brolewicz
John L. Brolewicz, 57 of Spring Lake passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home.
John was born in Jersey City, and was raised in Old Bridge, graduating from Madison Central High School, Class of 1979. One of his favorite times in his life was after high school when he worked at Mary’s Husbands Pub. He then went on to work as a Crane Operator for CoSteel, Raritan which later became Gerdau Ameristeel, Perth Amboy, for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents Henry and Laurene (nee Finnell) Brolewicz and his sister Clare Giglio.

John is survived by his wife Cici O’Keeffe Brolewicz of Sea Girt, his cherished daughter Erin Brolewicz of Sea Girt, his 3 step children Devon O’Keeffe, TJ Mahady, and Robert Carroll, his dear aunt Helene Dickinson of Kearny, his brother Henry Michael Brolewicz, his sister Laurie Brolewicz and many cousins, nieces and nephews and beloved friends.

It was John’s humor that everyone remembers. He would liven a room with a joke or a whimsical story, always greeting everyone he knew with his congenial, big hearted gestures of friendship.
