Elizabeth Mary Yehle, 90, of Howell, died on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. For many years, Mrs. Yehle was a well known Belmar Beach Attendant at the tenth avenue pavilion. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Good Will Fire Company in Belmar and the Belmar First Aid as well as the Belmar Schools PTO. She was a den mother for the Boys Scouts of America, Troop, 40 and enjoyed participating in activities at the Howell Township Senior Center.
Mrs. Yehle was born and raised in Newark and lived in Belmar for many years before moving to Howell 17 years ago.
Predeceased by her husband William E. Yehle in 1993, her son Robert P. whom she missed dearly, her parents William and Rosemary Golden, her step mother Margaret Golden and her brother William Golden, Jr. She is survived by her son Joseph William Yehle, Sr., daughters Rosemary Scott and her Karen Foran and her husband Michael. She also leaves her dear sister Theresa Broderick, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her best friends Nora Moyle, Ida and Carmen as well many other friends and family members that will miss her greatly.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 10 am on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at St. Veronica’s RC Church in Howell. Interment will be held privately at the NJ Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
