Nicholas Joseph "Nick"  Romano
Nicholas Joseph Romano 36, of Freehold and Wall, NJ, died Monday, June 22, 2015 at his home. Born in Everett, WA, Nicholas lived in Montgomery Township and Hillsborough, NJ before moving to Freehold 5 years ago. Nicholas was very proud of his website The Ecig Advisor. He enjoyed computer gaming, his new custom built computer, and watching the news with his Dad. He loved the outdoors and nature and especially the mountains. He loved "snuggling time" with his pug Abby. Nicholas’ legacy was the successful federal class action lawsuit that he was the lead plaintiff for nearly 300 disabled persons against a NY facility for improper care.
Nicholas was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Anthony W. Romano, maternal grandmother and grandfather; Diana and David Giacalone, his uncle Larry Mustachio and his godfather Vittorio Benedetto. Surviving are his parents Linda and Joseph Romano of Wall, a sister Christine Romano of NY, NY, his paternal grandmother, Anne Romano, his aunts and uncles Joseph and Judy Rienzi, Tom and Anne Giacalone, Tina Mustachio, Louis Giacalone and his cousins; Nicole and Joe Rienzi, Deanna Mustachio, and Louis Giacalone Jr.
Visiting will be Thursday, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall. A gathering will take place at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service on Friday, 11 AM at the O’Brien Funeral Home. Committal will be private.
