Obituary for Emanuel J. Vizzotti

Emanuel Joseph Vizzotti, 85, of Brick and formerly of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2016, surrounded by the love of his family. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Emanuel faithfully served his country with the US Army during the Korean War. Upon his return, he married his beloved wife Marie Imperiale, and together they had three beautiful children. Emanuel was a lithographer before his retirement, when he and Marie moved to Brick. He was a parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at St. Dominic’s, Brick. He loved his Lord, his country, and his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Emanuel was predeceased by his wife Marie in 2013. He is survived by his loving children, Anita Asfour and husband Stephen, Susan Vizzotti, and John Vizzotti and wife Ilda, his cherished grandchildren; Stephanie Koehler (Matthew), David Asfour (Heather), Emanuel Vizzotti, and Marie Vizzotti, his dear great grandchildren, Ryan, Abigail, and Madeleine.

Viewing will be at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dominic’s Church, Brick, on Tuesday at 10am.
