Daniel Joseph Connolly
August 13, 1959 – July 2, 2017
Daniel Joseph Connolly, age 57, passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at home in Brick, NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ and raised in Bergenfield, NJ. Daniel spent 12 years in Florida before returning home to South Jersey five years ago.
Daniel was a 1977 graduate from Bergen Technical High School in Hackensack and went on to become Head Cook at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He later worked as a cook for several restaurants in New Jersey and Florida.
He is survived by his loving parents, Andrew and Mary Connolly; his children, Daniel and Amanda; his siblings; Donna Alcorn, Andrew Connolly, Michael Connolly and Mary Ann Connolly; his two grandchildren and his five nieces and five nephews.
Cremation was private and held under the direction of O’Brien Funeral Home, Brick. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 am on Monday, July 10, 2017 at St. Dominic’s R.C. Church, Brick, NJ.
