Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Patricia Craig can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Patricia C. Craig (Craig)

Patricia C.  Craig (Craig)
Patricia C. (Patti) Craig of Spring Lake Heights died Aug. 5 at her home. She was 64.
Born in Cleveland, Ms. Craig grew up in West Orange and lived most of her life in Monmouth County. She graduated from East Orange Catholic High School and also Glassboro State College with a degree in education.
She was a vice president at Gourmet Kitchen, Inc. in Neptune, where she worked for 20 years. Prior to that, she worked at Rod’s Olde Irish Tavern and the Stadium, both in Sea Girt.
Patti remained close to many childhood friends throughout her life. She was a very loving, loyal and reliable friend. Given Patti’s wry sense of humor, she always enjoyed a good laugh. She also loved attending and watching sporting events, including golf, college football and horse racing.
Ms. Craig is survived by two brothers, John of South Bound Brook and Kenneth of New York City, a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Michael Lavitt of Shark River Hills, and a niece, Katherine Lavitt of Brooklyn.
Viewing will be Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Route 35 in Wall Township. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Catharine Roman Catholic Church in Spring Lake on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Memorial donations can be made to the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean counties.
