Obituary for Marian P. Cingari
Marian P. Cingari, 72, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017.
Mrs. Cingari was born in Brooklyn to the late Edward and Mary (Molese) Gregotowicz. She was raised in South Ozone Park, Queens. She was a longtime resident of East Brunswick, where she and her husband raised their sons, before moving to Neptune in 2002. She was employed in Customer Service with McMaster-Carr, in Dayton, before retiring. She was a volunteer with the Jersey Shore Arts Center in Ocean Grove and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Cingari is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Joseph J. Cingari. She is also survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Lynn Cingari, Monterey, Ca., David and Jaime Cingari, Cohasset, Ma., and Michael and Diana Cingari, Chester, N.J. She was the beloved grandmother of Morgan, Oliver, Emma, Brendan, Ashlyn and Ellie Cingari. Also surviving Mrs. Cingari is her sister, Madeline Hamilton, of Shark River Hills, Neptune.
Visitation will take place at O’Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy. 35, Wall, on Thursday, September 7, 2017, from 4-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, Spotswood, on Friday, September 8, 2017, at 10:15 AM, followed by interment at St. John’s Cemetery, Middle Village, Queens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Cingari’s memory may be made to Jersey Shore Arts Center, 66 S. Main St., Ocean Grove, NJ 07756.
