Kathleen Mead, age 53, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Born in Newark, Kathleen was raised in Colts Neck and has resided in Point Pleasant for the past 30 years.

Kathleen worked as Vice President, Market Manager for Investors Bank in Brick.

She was a Communicant of St. Martha’s Church in Brick. Kathleen’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her two boys, who were her life. She brought smiles to everyone who knew her.

She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Michael and Beatrice McKeon and her maternal grandparents Thomas and Elsie Cully, her in-laws Edwin and Bernice Mead, and aunt and uncle Pat and Ralph Sabation.

Surviving are her beloved husband, William Mead; her two loving sons, William T. Mead Jr. and Ryan M. Mead; her parents, John and Geraldine McKeon; her brother, Michael S. McKeon; her sisters and brothers in-laws, Pete and Helen Mead, Ann Yankay, Bruce and Eudonna Legg and Rick Mead; her aunts and uncles; Maureen and Joe Baressi, Joseph and Carol McKeon and John and Margaret O’Malley: her nieces and nephews, Madison and Mason Legg, Aidan and Brian McKeon, Duane, Sheri and Janice Mead, Steven Yankay and many great nieces and nephews as well as many cousins and great friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 3-8 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick. A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Pt. Pleasant. Entombment will follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery, Wall.
