Helen A. Czarniecki, 91, of Brick formerly of Kearny passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at The Chelsea in Brick. Mrs. Czarniecki was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a former member of St. Sthephen’s RC Church in Kearny .
Born and raised in Jersey City she lived in Kearny for many years before recently moving to Brick.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, John P. in 2002; and by all 4 of her brothers. Surviving are her daughters, Joy Gunderson of New Hampshire and Gail Hoyt and her husband, Charles of Point Pleasant Beach; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be on Sunday from 3-5pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held on Monday 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
