Obituary for Stephen E. Jankowski
Stephen Edward Jankowski, 81, of Brick passed away peacefully on November 26, 2017 at his home. Mr. Jankowski retired many years ago as a personnel manager at Lucent Technologies in Morristown. He was a communicant of St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick. He also enjoyed watching the NY Football Giants and the New York Mets.
Born and raised in Bayonne he moved to Brick in 1999.
Mr. Jankowski was predeceased by his loving wife, Cassandra Jankowski in 1995; his son, Steven P. Jankowski in 1997; and by his brother, Conrad Jankowski.
Surviving are his son, Kenneth M. Jankowski of Orlando, FL; daughter, Kristen A. Peto and her husband, Elek John of Brick; brother John Jankowski and his wife, Fran of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister-in-law, Sue Jankowski of Houston, TX; and 2 grandchildren, Jonathan and Jake.
A Memorial Mass will be offered on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick. Burial of his cremated remains will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
Donations may be made in his name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
