Obituary for Brian T. Kelsey

Brian T. Kelsey, 72, of Brick died on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Ocean Medical Center in Brick. Brian was born November 4, 1945 in Trenton, NJ son of the late James G. Kelsey and Kathleen (nee Murphy) Kelsey. He was a resident of Brick from 1973. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force from 1969 – 1972. He was employed by Engelhard Corporation in Iselin as a Senior Systems Analyst for 23 years before retiring in 2007.
Mr. Kelsey is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Arlene (nee Dazin) Kelsey; step-daughter, Danielle Farrell and her husband, Kevin of Stuart, FL; step-son, Christian B. Pridy and his wife, Erica of Brick; sister, Sheila Kelsey Leggett of West Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Alana Brielle and Gavin George; as well as his 3 children from a previous marriage and their families.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 10am – 10:30am at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted at 10:30am in the funeral home. Burial and committal prayers will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, PO Box 50798, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32240.
