Obituary for Vito Mazzarino
Vito Mazzarino, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune. Born in Vizzini, Sicily, Vito moved to the United States in 1947 and has resided in Point Pleasant for the past 23 years.
Vito’s greatest joy was spending time with his loving family.
He is predeceased by his beloved wife Rose in 2016.
Surviving are his children; Joseph Mazzarino, Teresa Mazzarino, Gina Resina, Maria Ottomanelli and Denise Piccolo; his loving grandchildren, Joseph, Lauren, Irena, Patrick and Amanda.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 16th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martha’s RC Church, Point Pleasant followed by the entombment at St. Catharine’s Cemetery in Wall.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 www.alz.org.
