Obituary for Shannon Patricia Colucci
Shannon Patricia Colucci nee Smith, 67, of Brick passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Colucci was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed knitting, needle point and crocheting and loved to share gifts of her work with family and friends. She was a communicant of St. Dominic’s RC Church in Brick.
Born in Elizabeth, she grew up in Roselle Park before moving to Brick in 1977.
She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard J. and Rita Marie Smith.
Surviving is her loving husband of 44 years, Robert L. Colucci, Jr.; sons, Robert B. Colucci and Michael L. Colucci both of Brick; daughter, Kerri P. Patton and her husband, Craig also of Brick; brothers, Bernard “Bud” Smith III and his wife, Betty of Florida and Brian Smith of Pennsylvania; sister, Maureen Beebe and her late husband, Bill of Florida; her best friend, Mary Jo McMenamin and her husband, Tim of Middlesex; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visiting will be on Tuesday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted 10am on Wednesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow 11:30am at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
Donations may be made in her name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Foundation.
