Robert Bruce Fischer
Robert Bruce Fischer, 75, of Point Pleasant Boro, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 22, 2018 at his home. Mr. Fischer retired as a bank manager for Wells Fargo after many years in the industry. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era from 1966 – 1968. He was a graduate of Bloomfield College. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren creating a lifetime of fond memories.
Mr. Fischer was predeceased by his brother, Jackie Fischer. Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Gail Iris (Stevens) Fischer; son, Scott David Fischer and his wife, Joanne of Manalapan; grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren; and Clara Martin whom he considered his own daughter.
A memorial celebration of Mr. Fischer’s life will be held in the near future.
