Rene B. Walsh (Dekany), 50, of Brick passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. Mrs. Walsh worked as a bank teller at Manasquan Savings Bank in Point Pleasant for many years. She was a 1986 graduate of Brick Memorial High School. She was a past member of the Women of the Moose in Point Pleasant. Rene loved spending time with her family and dogs especially on camping trips. She also enjoyed gardening.
Born in Pompton Plains, she was a lifelong resident of Brick.
She was predeceased by her parents, Louis J. Dekany, Sr. and Bernadette Dekany. Surviving is her loving husband, Michael Walsh, Jr.; son, Dylan Walsh of Brick; daughter, Rhiannon Walsh of Brick and her fiancé, Sal Sengotta of Toms River; brother, Louis J. Dekany and his wife, Kristine of Florida; as well as her nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation celebrating Rene life will be held 4-8pm on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be conducted at 7:30pm in the funeral home.
