Obituary for John Henry Wilton

John H. Wilton, 91, of Brick passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Born and raised in Staten Island, NY, John lived in East Brunswick for 17 years before moving to Brick in 1999.
John proudly served during WWII in the United States Navy. He was a member of the V.F.W. and was an advocate for Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.

John was predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorothy Wilton in 2016 and brother, George “Red” Wilton.

Surviving are his brother Arthur Wilton Jr., Brothers-In-Law, William and Mickey; nieces, Dawn Sypniewski, Kim, Janice and her husband Vernon and their children Lynnette and Larry; nephews, Alan, Bill and his wife Ursula Sypniewski and their children Lauren, Tyler, Matthew and many cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A service will be conducted at 8:30pm in the funeral home. To send condolences or flowers please visit www.obrienfuneralhome.com
