Obituary for Lucy Decio (Fucito)
Lucy Decio, 98, of Howell passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Decio worked over 25 years at Western Electric in Kearny before retiring in 1981. She was a communicant of St. William the Abbot RC Church in Howell
Born in Hoboken and raised in Jersey City she moved to the Ramtown Section of Howell 3 years ago.
Mrs. Decio was predeceased by her husband, Vincent Decio in 1999; parents, Luigi and Mariannina Fucito; brothers, Joseph Fucito and Louis Fucito; sister, Catherine Gibaldi; her son John Decio in 2013; and by her son-in-law, John J. Hurley, Jr. in 2017. Surviving are her daughter, Lorraine Hurley of Howell; grandchildren, Megan Marie Kroll and her husband, Marlen and Brian Hurley and his wife, Sabrina; 3 great grandchildren, Sophia Grace Kroll, Gabriella Rose Kroll and Mackenzie Hurley; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Donations may be made in her name to the St, William the Abbot Church, 2740 Allenwood-Lakewood Road, Howell, NJ 07731.
