The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Langstaff can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Sissy Holterhoff

Hello Janet. I am the daughter of old friends of Dick and Claire Langstaff. They were best friends with my parents, Ed and Helen Holterhoff of Hawthorne. My oldest brother, Tom, and Ricky were the same age and shared many happy childhood days together and with both families. We have a few of Dick's paintings - one cherished painting of my father hanging in Tom's home in Rancho Mirage, CA. We talked about Rick just today and found this tribute from a few years ago, so sad to think he's gone. We had fun with the Langstaff's - Dave, too. Anyway, my most sincere condolences so long after the fact. We were very sad to learn that Rick died.
