The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Leonard Zawalski can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We were so fortunate to be next door neighbors with Lenny (and Family) in Highland Lakes. Our memories are intertwined....while raising our children. Countless joyful memories....
As the years past, Tom & Lenny so looked forward to golfing weekly...after the both retired....what a truly wonderful time.
We will greatly miss Lenny. We will always treasure his friendship.

Condolence From: Brian Madigan
Condolence: Dear Kathy and Family,
Len and I met at the Y shortly after each of us retired. We hit it off instantly. Signed up and practiced Pilates together until we both hurt ourselves the same day. Len continued with his swimming program and I went to aerobics.
Len then joined our golfing group playing every week with particular emphasis on the 19th hole. Since I had only recently started to play golf, Len helped me a great deal with some great instruction at the driving range.
We enjoyed some memorable times together including many spirited discussions.
Even after he got sick, his emails and conversation always had a most positive tone. Never negative and always uplifting.
He will remain in my memory forever.
My Deepest Sympathy to you Kathy and Family.
May He Rest in Peace.
