The National Guard
One year when we were going up to Fort Drum for Summer Camo.We had an overnight stop in up State New Yotrk. It was in August and the weather turned pretty cold. We were sleeping in our sleeping bags and with our unifroms on aand on the top pf our food lockers.
There were about six of us inn the duce and 1/2 . I had a bottle of scotch in my fooet locker and was able to get it out and we all had a belt before getting out of the truck for breakfast.
Everyone felt warmer after that shot of scotch.
