The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Kathryn Harmer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Mrs. Harmer was my kindergarten teacher at Horace Mann in the mid '60's. She was one of the kindest, sweetest teachers I ever had. I have a lousy memory but can remember Mrs. Harmer and the fun we had in our class. She absolutely had a positive impact on my life. I'm happy to see she lived a long life to share her kindness with so many. My sympathies to her daughters and the rest of the family. I'm sure her goodness and love lives on within you. Jill Rowland
