The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Loretta Toranto can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Loretta Toranto (Olmo)

Loretta Toranto, 68, of Brick passed away peacefully on Monday, August 28, 2017 at her home. Mrs. Toranto was a court clerk for many years for the State of New Jersey Superior Court in Freehold before retiring in 2009.
Born and raised in New York City, she has been a resident of Brick since 1971.
Mrs. Toranto was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Patriaco. Surviving is her husband of 48 years, Richard Toranto; sons, Richard and Michael Toranto both of Brick; and brother, Vincent Olmo of Long Island, NY.
Visiting will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at the O’Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick. A prayer service will be held at 7:30pm in the funeral home. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in her name to the Joan Dancy & Pals Foundation.
