Letter from John Tessitore

"Herb will be missed.  He was a true Christian and human being.  He cared for people.  He had a great sense of humor. My wife, Marilyn (Herb's cousin) loved him dearly and often spoke of her childhood memories at Mountain Lake, N.J. during her many summers there.  I met Herb's parents there (Herb Sr. and Aunt Kate) They were wonderful persons and it is easy to see where Herb acquired his traits. It also explains why Herb was attracted to Joan.  They were made for each other.  Marilyn and I attended their wedding and we saw each other at family reunions in N.J. until we retired to North Carolina.  We fondly look back to their yearly visits when they left N.J. in the winter and headed to the Keys.  We talked about a myriad of subjects like family, baseball, and fishing.  They were fun times and bring back such pleasant memories.  That is what I treasure most nowadays at 92.... Herb was a real loveable person. I shall miss him.  Love, John Tessitore"
