Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Tierney can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Ron

Though I never joined ROTC in high school in the 80's - I would always get the sense of what a great man he was & was probably the best role model & teacher - zll just by passing him in the hallways & hearing bits of conversation between himself & students. I also got the sense that the cadets connected to him at a high level & that he was probably their greatest & best influence in school & in life. I went on to become a U.S. Naval Aircrewman & from time to time would be wondering how he was doing. My jaw dropped in surprise when I moved back to Brick in 2013 to see that he was still there still teaching & positively influencing young men & women just like he did in the 80's. RIP Master Sergeant.
