The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Mastrian can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Joanne & Jack Guarnieri

Jim and Nora were both so kind and giving. They had a way about them to make everyone feel special. Jim missed Nora terribly every moment of every day. If losing Jim means that Nora gains him, then the thought of that should help us to feel a bit better. Joanne and I and our family all join in thanking the Mastrian Family for sharing Jim and Nora with us. Jim was truly a wonderful presence who always had time, a smile and a kind word for everyone. Jim served so many efforts as a Knight of Columbus and parishioner at St. Monica's. Jim had a kind heart and always a hug for me. It will take the efforts of a whole Council of Knights to do most of the work that Jim did. When I hear his GK part of the First Degree, I will always hear Jim's voice. One of Jim's efforts was to promote the use and Prayer of a Ring Rosary. Jim proudly presented a Ring Rosary to each new First Degree Knight. It would be a wonderful ongoing tribute to Jim if we all carried a Ring Rosary and Prayed it daily in his memory. May God Bless you Jim and continue to bless Nora and your family. We should all celebrate your lives as we were lucky to have you for the time we did. Rest in God's Peace
